Input Signal And Output Signal

Major signal transmission between each unit via communication lines is shown in the following chart.

Signal description

ECM

Mainly transmits the following signals to electronic stability program control unit via CAN communication.

  • Accelerator pedal position signal
  • Drive train operation signal
  • Engine running signal

Mainly receives the following signals from electronic stability program control unit via CAN communication.

  • Brake operation signal
  • Engine torque down request signal

TCM

Mainly transmits the following signals to electronic stability program control unit via CAN communication. *1

Electronic ignition switch control unit
