Knock Control Adjustment

The adjustment function of the knock control operates at coolant temperature 75 deg.C (167 deg.F) or more. Correction values of Ignition timing necessary at the occurrence of knock are continuously recorded by cylinder together with data containing various engine operating conditions (engine load and engine speed). The optimum ignition timing can be immediately determined for each cylinder, based on the recorded data.
