EPS Control Unit
EPS control unit has the following functions:
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Actuation of components
- Transmission of requests/information
Reading in of Signals
The input factors are read in over the following connections:
- Direct line
- CAN communication line
Direct line
- The signals from the EPS torque sensor read in via a direct line.
CAN communication line
- The signals are read in from each control unit via CAN communication. For detail, refer to System Description .
Evaluation of Input Factors
The input factors which are read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor, the relevant components are then actuated and requests/information are output.
Actuation of Components
EPS actuator is actuated directly.
Transmission of Requests/Information
The requirements/information are sent to each control unit via CAN communication. For detail, refer to System Description .
