With dual clutch transmission, the engine is automatically started upon releasing the brake or operating the accelerator pedal.

The ECM actuates the starter relay by means of ground signal. The power contact on the relay closes and the starter solenoid switch is supplied battery voltage. Via CAN communication, the fuel pump control module (FPCM) receives the fuel specified pressure signal from ECM and actuates the fuel pump accordingly.
