Work Procedure

CAUTION:

Perform the valve timing offset data clear operation beforehand. Refer to Description .
If 2D code cannot be read, perform only the valve timing offset data clear operation.

WRITE VALVE TIMING OFFSET DATA
With CONSULT
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "VALVE TIMING OFFSET DATA WRITING " in "WORK SUPPORT" mode of "ENGINE" using CONSULT.
3. Observe the instructions displayed on the CONSULT screen to write 2D code affixed to the electric intake valve timing control actuator.
4. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
5. Turn ignition switch ON.
6. Check that DTC P100C is not displayed.
