Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove battery tray. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Disconnect the harness connectors from the ECM, TCM, electric intake valve timing control module, and VCR control module. Refer to Harness Connector (lever locking type).
  3. Remove module assembly bracket bolts.
  4. Remove VCR control module nuts.
  5. Remove VCR control module.
