ATR Actuator

FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM 

The G sensor mounted on the active torque rod. The vibration level signal of the active torque rod detected by G sensor is sent to the ATR control module. The ATR control module sends the control signal to the ATR actuator according to the signal from G sensor to decrease vibration level of the active torque rod.

INDIVIDUAL FUNCTION WITHIN THE SYSTEM 

The actuator torque rod attaches a G sensor its body side and has an actuator inside.

INDIVIDUAL OPERATION 

Engine vibration transmitted to the cabin is decreased by operating ATR actuator.

COMPONENT LOCATION 

The active torque rod is installed to the engine right upper side near right strut tower.
