Crank Angle Sensor

This sensor is located inside the distributor housing. The engine speed and relative position of each piston in its cylinder are detected. From these parameters, MCU calculates proper ignition timing and dwell angle. The MCU then sends a signal to the transistorized ignition coil, to create a spark.
