Test 7 - Air Flow Sensor (Codes 61 And 62)

Disconnect terminals at MCU and air flow sensor. Check all circuits for continuity and grounds. Repair or replace defective circuits or connections.

Reconnect terminals to MCU and air flow sensor. Carefully pry open sealing gasket on the air flow sensor side of terminal connector. Connect ohmmeter to Black wire and to ground; there should be no resistance. If circuit tests good, disconnect ohmmeter. Connect voltmeter to air flow sensor under the conditions shown in chart.

Green-Ground	On/Not Running	0.2-0.6
Green-Ground	On/Running	1.0-2.0

If voltage in Green wire did not increase with engine running, replace air flow sensor. If voltage was not present at Red wire, check circuits and connections.
