Ecu Code 22 - Starter Signal Circuit

  1. Check voltage between terminal No. 16 at ECU harness connector and terminal No. 4 at ignition switch or at starter relay. If voltage is less than 5 volts, correct power feed fault.
  2. If voltage is over 5 volts, check for faulty ECU harness connector. Repair connector or replace ECU. Clear code and run engine. Access trouble codes to ensure code 22 is not present.
