Electronic Control Unit (Ecu)

The ECU is located under the instrument panel left of steering column on Impulse and Pickup. On Trooper II, ECU is located under center console. The ECU analyzes all electrical data signals from the sensors. It controls the fuel injection system, the ignition system, various emission devices and the turbocharger control system (if used). The ECU includes back-up, self-diagnostics and fail-safe control systems.
