If no faults were found while performing BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, proceed to G - TESTING W/ CODES article in this section. If no hard codes are present, or vehicle does not have a self-diagnostic system, proceed to H - TESTING W/O CODES article for diagnosis by symptom (i.e. ROUGH IDLE, NO START, etc.), or intermittent diagnosis procedures.
