Disassembly (2.3L)
- Remove distributor cap, lead wire and vacuum advance. See Figure . Insert screwdriver into lower side of reluctor and carefully pry it from distributor shaft.
- File off staked end of roll pin, then drive out roll pin with a pin punch. Remove distributor shaft. Remove advance weights and springs from distributor shaft.
