Turbocharger (Impulse)
To check turbocharger wastegate operation, install a vacuum "T" in wastegate vacuum line and install pressure gauge to vacuum "T". Apply 8-10 psi (.562-.703 kg/cm2 ) to vacuum line and ensure wastegate rod begins to move. Ensure wastegate rod travel reaches .078" (2 mm).
