Fuel Pump Relay

  1. Fuel pump relay is located under hood on right inner fender well inside relay box. Remove relay from connector and test for continuity between terminals 1 and 3. See Fig 1 . Ensure no continuity is present. Test between terminals 1 and 2 for continuity. Ensure continuity is present.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals 4 and 5. Ensure continuity is present between terminals 1 and 3. Ensure continuity is not present between terminals 1 and 2. Replace relay if defective.
