BELT ADJUSTMENT - BELT DEFLECTION (1)

Application (2) Belt Deflection
Amigo, Pickup & Rodeo
All Belts .375" (10 mm)
Trooper
A/C Belt .315" (8 mm)
Alternator & Power Steering Belt N/A
(1) Some models are checked by belt deflection; other models are checked using belt tension gauge.
(2) Deflection is checked with 22-lb. (10 kg) pressure applied midway on longest belt run.
