(1) Adjustable hydraulic valve lifters are used. Clearance adjustment is not part of regular maintenance schedule. See appropriate ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
(2) Hydraulic lash adjusters are used; no adjustment is required.
