Diagnostic Aids

A Code 43 can be caused by a faulty connection at knock sensor, ESC module, or ECM. Also check circuit No. D10 for possible open or short to ground. For intermittent inspection, see INTERMITTENTS in TESTS W/O CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
