Valve Clearance

NOTE: Pickup 3.1L is equipped with adjustable hydraulic valve lifters. Clearance adjustment is not part of regular maintenance schedule. See appropriate ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article. Rodeo 3.2L and Trooper are equipped with hydraulic lash adjusters. No adjustment is required.
