Restart Relay

  1. Restart relay is located under hood on left inner fenderwell inside relay box. Remove relay from connector, and test for continuity between terminals No. 3 and 4. See Figure . Ensure continuity is not present. Test between terminals No. 1 and 2 for continuity. Ensure continuity is present.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 5 and 6. Ensure continuity is present between terminals No. 3 and 4. Ensure continuity is not present between terminals No. 1 and 2. Replace relay if defective.
