Differential Speed Sensor

Differential speed sensor is used on 2WD Passport, Rodeo and SLX. Sensor is of the variable reluctance type and is mounted on rear differential in close proximity to an internal toothed ring. As teeth pass by sensor head, an AC voltage is produced. Sensor signal frequency increases as ring rotation speed increases.
