Check intake air pipe for restrictions.
Check Intake Air By-Pass (IAB) system. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article
Check air cleaner element.
Check Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) for restrictions.
Check for contaminated fuel.
Check for low engine compression.
On Accord 2.3L, check Intake Air Resonator (IAR) control system intake air pipe. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article.
On Accord 3.0L, check Intake Air By-pass (IAB) control system. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article.
