Diagnostic Aids
Check for poor connection at PCM. Inspect harness connectors for backed-out terminals, improper mating, broken locks, improperly formed or damaged terminals, and poor terminal connection. Inspect wiring harness for damage. Move connectors and wiring harnesses related to sensor, while observing MAP display on scan tool. A change in display will indicate location of fault. If DTC cannot be duplicated, FAILURE RECORDS data can be used in determining vehicle mileage since DTC was last set. If it is determined that DTC occurs intermittently, performing DTC P1106: MAP SENSOR CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT HIGH VOLTAGE or DTC P1107: MAP SENSOR CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT LOW VOLTAGE may isolate cause of fault.
