Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No Throttle Position (TP) sensor DTCs are present.
• Engine speed is steady, changing less than 100 RPM.
• Engine speed is between 1000 and 4000 RPM.
• Throttle position is steady, throttle angle changes less than one percent.
• EGR flow rate is steady, changing less than 4 percent.
• No change in brake, A/C clutch, Torque Converter Clutch, or Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch status.
• Above conditions are met for one second or more.
• Actual MAP value varies more than 10 kPa.
• MAP value must vary for a total of 10 seconds over a 20 second period of time that samples were monitored.
• Failure must occur over two consecutive trip cycles.
