Fuel System Test

Fuel system test checks fuel system for proper operation.

1. Connect TECH 2 or equivalent scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located at lower left side of instrument panel, behind a small cover. Turn ignition on, and go to next step.
2. On scan tool select F3: MISCELLANEOUS TESTS. From application menu select F3: FUEL SYSTEM, and go to next step.
3. Follow scan tool directions to test fuel trim enable/disable and open/closed loop status.
4. If fuel system tests as specified, testing is complete. If fuel system fails test, test area of fuel system that failed test. See FUEL SYSTEM in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTS article.
