NOTE: If PCM requires replacement, PCM must be reprogrammed using a TECH 2 or other OBD-II compatible scan tool and special manufacturer equipment.

NOTE: For PCM harness connector, wire terminal and wire color identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS and PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS article.

NOTE: Perform all voltage tests with a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) with a minimum 10 megohm impedance unless stated otherwise in test procedure.

NOTE: Before replacing any component that scan tool suggests are faulty, ensure that all wiring connections and harness connectors are okay. Ensure that power and ground circuits are functioning properly. For circuit identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
