Conditions For Setting DTC

• No active VSS, TPS, MAP, IAT, MAF, or ECT DTC(s) are present.
• Engine is running.

Warm Case (Ambient Temperature Is 50-84°F (10-29°C):

• Time for engine coolant temperature to reach 122°F (50°C) to allow closed loop operation is less than 2 minutes since start-up.
• Engine idling time is less than 90 seconds total since start-up and air volume is above 3000g total.

Cold Case (Ambient Temperature Is 9-50°F (-13 to 10°C)

• Time for engine coolant temperature reach to allow closed loop operation (122°F/50°C) is less than 5 minutes since start-up.
• Engine idling time is less than 225 seconds total since start-up and air volume is above 3000g total.

Third Case (Ambient Temperature Is 9-22°F (-13 to -6°C)

• Time for engine coolant temperature reach to allow closed loop operation (122°F/50°C) is less than 10 minutes since start-up.
• Engine idling time is less than 450 seconds total since start-up and air volume is above 5300g total.
