Diagnostic Aids

DTC P0601 indicates that contents of EEPROM have changed since PCM was programmed. Only repair is PCM replacement. Ensure replacement PCM is reprogrammed using correct software and calibration for vehicle. See EEPROM PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE  under POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE.
