Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedure:

   DTCs other than P0171 may indicate a condition which may cause a lean condition. Repairing condition caused by other DTC(s) may correct DTC P0171.

   If DTC P0171 diagnostic test passes while FAILURE RECORDS are being duplicated, lean condition is intermittent. For aid in diagnosing intermittent condition, see DIAGNOSTIC AIDS  , or see TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
