Coolant Temperature Sensor Test
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove connector from the temperature sensor. Connect an ohmmeter between sensor terminals. Resistance should be as specified. See TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table.
- Check the resistance between each of the sensor terminals and the sensor case. High or infinite resistance should be present. Connect the sensor connector and the negative battery cable.
