Anti-Lock Brake System: Operation
During normal brake system operation, the brake system controls front brake hydraulic circuit using fluid pressure from the master cylinder assisted by the hydraulic booster. The rear brake hydraulic circuit is controlled using only pressure from the hydraulic brake booster (not master cylinder).
During anti-lock brake operation, ECU operates inlet and outlet solenoid valves to control wheel lock-up. Rear wheel brake pressure is controlled according to the need of the locking wheel.
