Windows Inoperative
- Ensure power window fuse and all wiring harness connections are clean and tight. Connect a jumper wire between White/Blue and Brown/Blue wires of thermal circuit breaker.
- Circuit breaker is located under right side of instrument panel. Turn ignition on. Operate either window switch. If window operates, replace circuit breaker and recheck window operation. If window does not operate, go to next step.
- With ignition on, battery voltage should be present at Brown/Blue wire of left window switch. Operate left window switch. With left window switch operated in one direction. Battery voltage should be present at Red/Blue wire of left window switch.
- With left window switch operated in opposite direction, battery voltage should be present at Green/Blue wire of left window switch. If voltage readings are not as specified, replace window switch.
- Repeat steps 3) and 4) for right window switch. Measure voltage at Red/Green wire of right window switch for one direction and Green/Red wire for opposite direction.
- If both window switches are okay, check window lift motor continuity. Continuity should exist between window motor connector terminals. Replace window motor as necessary.
