Fuel Pressure Release

- Open trunk. Remove trunk front trim panel to access fuel tank. Disconnect fuel pump connector. See Fig 1 . Start engine and let it idle until engine stalls. Turn ignition off. Reconnect fuel pump connector.
- Connect fuel pressure gauge to fuel injector rail. Start engine and observe fuel pressure gauge. If fuel pressure is as specified, fuel pump is okay. If fuel pressure is not as specified, repair fuel system as necessary.
