Description & Operation

Vehicles are equipped with a manual or power tilt-telescoping type steering column with 13 degrees tilt range and 2.5 in. (35 mm) telescoping range, air bag restraint system and steering wheel.

WARNING: Vehicles are equipped with air bag restraint system. Before performing any repairs on steering column, disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  .
