DTC P0460: Fuel Level Sensor

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect fuel level sensor harness connectors, located in trunk, on rear side of fuel tank. Measure resistance between fuel level sensor harness connector terminals. If resistance is 70-1000 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 70-1000 ohms, replace fuel level sensor and retest system.
  2. Check for open circuit, short circuit to ground, or short circuit to voltage in Red/White or Black/White wire circuits between fuel level sensor and instrument panel. Repair wiring as necessary.
