Front Door Window Motor: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Connect a 12-volt battery to motor, and raise glass. Draw a horizontal line along top edge of glass, and vertically down along rear edge ("B" pillar side).
- Raise and lower glass to ensure it is seating squarely in the seal. If glass is tilted rearward, move glass guide downward in slot. If glass is tilted forward, move glass guide upward in slot. Reposition guide and tighten screw.
- Recheck alignment of glass, raising an lowering glass several times. Readjust if necessary. Raise glass to fully closed position and disconnect battery from motor. Loosen regulator up-stop bolt. See Fig 1. Move stop rearward to abut regulator quadrant, and tighten regulator up-stop bolt.
