Possible Causes
- Key Transponder Module (KTM) to ECM circuit shorted, high resistance or open.
- Loss of ignition switched power supply to the ECM harness connector EM82 terminal No. 9 for more than 16 milliseconds.
- KTM failure.
- Security system incorrectly configured (KTM/ECM).
