XK8 & XKR

NOTE: Positions of driver's seat, steering column and outside rearview mirrors can be saved and recalled. Driving positions can be saved for 2 different drivers. Driving preferences can only be stored into memory when ignition switch is in ACC (I) position.
  1. Turn ignition switch to ACC (I) position. Adjust driver's seat, steering column and outside rearview mirrors to preferred positions. Push memory "M" button located next to driver's inside door latch.
  2. When memory "M" button is pressed, the LED next to "M" button will illuminate for 4 seconds. To store first driver's preferences, push "1" or "2" button. When button is pressed LED will go out and a chime will sound indicating that setting procedure is completed.
  3. To set second memory positions, adjust seat, steering column and outside rearview mirrors to second driver's preferred positions. Push memory "M" button and press unused button within 4 seconds after LED illuminates.
  4. LED will go out and a chime will sound indicating that the second driver's preferences have been set. Previously set driver's preferences will be erased and new preferences will be set if setting procedure is repeated.
