- Measure the resistance between pins 06 and 14 of the diagnostic socket.
- Is the resistance 60 ohms?
Yes
The CAN system is OK. Check for DTCs indicating a fault elsewhere.
No
Check the CAN system for open and short circuits. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS
for XJR or SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS
for XJ8. Clear the DTC and check for normal operation.
