Control Components - Description & Operation: Introduction

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2009 Jaguar XKR, 2009 Jaguar XK8, 2008 Jaguar XKR, 2008 Jaguar XK8, and 2007 Jaguar XKR. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The automatic temperature control (ATC) module controls the air conditioning (A/C) system and the heating and ventilation system to regulate the temperature, volume, and distribution of air into the cabin.

The system is a fully automatic dual zone system capable of maintaining individual temperature levels selected for the left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) sides of the cabin. Manual overrides for the system include intake air source, blower speed and air distribution. These selections can be made using either the Touch Screen Display (TSD) or the control switches located below the TSD.

For information on how to operate the air conditioning (A/C) system and the heating and ventilation system, refer to the Owner's Handbook.
