The Solid State Ignition (SSI) system features a solid state distributor, an electronic control unit (ECU), an ignition coil, and conventional distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires and spark plugs. Other components include the battery, ignition switch, starter solenoid and primary resistance wires.
