Removal & Installation: Injectors: Removal

  1. Before removing injectors, clean injector surrounding area and pipe connections with clean fuel or solvent to prevent contamination. Blow area dry with compressed air. Remove fuel return hose fitting and washer.
  2. Remove high pressure fuel line fitting from injector. Remove injector clamp retaining nuts and washers. Remove injector clamp and injector. Remove copper seal and heat shield.
