Subsystem Checks

Before testing fuel injection system for cause of malfunction, check that following subsystems and components are in good operating condition:

• Battery and charging system.
• Engine state of tune.
• Emission control devices.
• Fuel system pressure and delivery volume.
• Wiring connectors at components.
