Forward Delay Valve (5.9L)

A one-way forward delay valve is used in the vacuum advance circuit to improve driveability and also reduce undesirable hydrocarbon (HC) emission. Valve prevents sudden ignition advance during quick engine deceleration (throttle closing) by delaying the sudden increase in manifold vacuum.
