Test A: No Windows Operate
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage at power window feed connector at fuse panel. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace 60-amp fuse in Power Distribution Center (PDC) and/or repair open in Orange wire between fuse panel and ignition switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Measure resistance from side of cigar lighter socket to ground. If resistance is zero ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not zero ohms, repair open to ground.
- Remove master door lock/power windows switch assembly mounting screws. Measure resistance between ground and driver's side switch terminal DX (Black wire). If resistance is zero ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not zero ohms, repair open between ground splice of instrument panel harness.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage at terminal BY of driver's side switch. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open to circuit breaker.
- Operate window switch. If the window does not move UP or DOWN, test switch. See DRIVERS DOOR POWER WINDOW SWITCH (4-DOOR) or DRIVERS DOOR POWER WINDOW SWITCH (2-DOOR) under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch passes test, replace defective motors.
