Test 8D - Short To Battery On Bus

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see BODY CONTROL SYSTEM CONNECTORS under DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE. For wiring diagrams, see appropriate chassis wiring diagram in the WIRING DIAGRAMS Section.

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Put DRB-II in ohmmeter mode. Probe terminal No. 7 (Black wire) of automatic temperature controller connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace automatic temperature controller module. Perform VERIFICATION TEST. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire. Perform VERIFICATION TEST.
