Cruise Control Switches

Cruise control switches provide 3 separate inputs to the PCM. The ON/OFF switch informs PCM that cruise control system has been activated. The SET switch informs PCM that a fixed vehicle speed has been selected. The RESUME switch informs PCM that the previously selected fixed speed has been selected. Cruise control operating range is 35-85 MPH (56-137 KM/H). PCM also uses brake switch, park/neutral switch, vehicle speed sensor and throttle position sensor to control cruise control operation.
