Programming PCM

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below instrument panel near steering column. See Figure .
  2. Using scan tool, enter correct Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and mileage into PCM. Using scan tool manufacturer's instructions, clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) modules.
