BCM Flash CHECKSUM Failure

When Monitored: Each time the DRBIII(R) performs the flash process, the BCM runs a flash CHECKSUM test.

Set Condition: The DTC will set if the BCM detects a flash checksum failure.

Possible Causes are:

Connect the DRBIII(R) to the Data Link Connector. Turn ignition on. Using the DRBIII(R), erase BCM DTC's. Turn ignition off, then turn ignition on. Using the DRBIII(R), read BCM DTC's. Did this DTC reset? If yes, reflash or replace the Body Control Module. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, test is complete.
