Compass Test Failure

Possible Causes are:

• ELECTRONIC VEHICLE INFORMATION CENTER

Perform the EVIC self test. Turn ignition off. Depress and hold the RESET and C/T buttons while turning the ignition on. This test may also be performed using the DRBIII(R). Does the EVIC or DRBIII(R) display FAILED SELF TEST? If yes, replace the EVIC. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, test is complete.
